Session Updates and more – one not to miss
What can I say, I still haven’t been as regular with posts etc as I would like to be, but I guess it is all work in progress 🙂
And it is amazing how time just seems to go faster and faster the older you get 😉 Who would have thought…
Anyways, just a quick update on what has been happening and what will be happening over the weeks to come.
The Group Sessions have been going really well, and I would like to take this opportunity to applaud again those, that have been attending 3 to 4 to 5 sessions (one person even up to 8! – you know who you are Ali 😉 ) per week!
We had some very cold mornings and some very wet mornings, but thanks to the roof over our heads and the dedication from those that still made it out of bed on those days, the sessions still went ahead and we always had a ball 🙂
So hat off to you guys!!!
This Sunday coming I have scheduled the first of hopefully many more to come ‘Basic Essentials’ sessions.
It is an hour in which I want to teach and educate about 3 basic essential things, that have helped me in my initial phases of getting back into fitness and getting to get my body better.
I teach this to all of my PT clients, though in a Group environment it is not quite possible, hence I would like to offer this now to everyone:
1 hour, Sundays from 10-11am, open to 4 participants only at a time, to learn about TA (transverse abdominis muscle) activation, diaphragmatic breathing, and short footing (deep core engagement). These 3 things can help to reconnect with your body, take control of your body, as well as help with your training, recovery and every day life!
This session will be held at my place in Tapping (Address available through the booking system here).
It is a one off session, but can be repeated if wanted, should spaces be available. The cost is $25 per head.
For Saturday the 11th of June I have planned the first VIVESCO Recreational Bush Walk
I am planning on organizing lots more of these, as well as other types of activities every now and then, for all VIVESCO clients as well as their families and friends to join in, come along and simply enjoy moving your body whilst socializing.
So to kick this off I would like to invite everyone to come and meet at Bold Park at Reabold Hill for a 11am start.
The walk should take a maximum of 2 hours, depending what route we decide to go. We may also have 2 groups doing different length of walking.
This is a fairly easy bush walk to start things with and easy to access as well.
I will not need attendance notice on this one, as I will be there for sure either way 🙂
Though I hope you will come and join in and bring along some family and friends (furry ones are welcome, too 🙂 )
